Rotax Plasma cylinder: the new cylinder for the Rotax 125 MAX evo engine family, made by BRP-Rotax in its plant in Austria, with the inner cylinder wall finished with a plasma coating. Same power as the current cylinder, longer life for cylinder and piston.
Launch price €350 including VAT, reserved for the first 100 pieces available from the importer. After that, the Plasma cylinder will cost the same as the current cylinder.
- Versions: Junior / Micro / Mini and Senior MAX.
- Tolerance classes A and AB, with a Data Matrix code for production traceability. Class B no longer exists.
- Mandatory on Micro MAX and Mini MAX from 1 January 2027 under the Rotax global technical regulations, optional on Junior MAX and Senior MAX.
- Junior, Micro and Mini: 1:1 swap. Senior MAX: the new exhaust valve flange needs gasket 450415, support plate 251337 and gasket 250230.
- Compatible with the current piston and with the new Rotax piston with ring.
The cylinder is a sealed engine part: it must be fitted by a Rotax service centre, which reseals the engine and updates the engine identity card.

Is the Rotax Plasma cylinder mandatory?
Under the Rotax global technical regulations it is mandatory on Micro MAX and Mini MAX from 1 January 2027 and optional on Junior MAX and Senior MAX. Always check your championship's regulations.
Is it faster than the current cylinder?
No. Rotax states the same power and lap times: what changes is the durability of cylinder and piston and the consistency of production.
Does the Senior MAX need extra parts?
Yes: the new exhaust valve flange needs gasket 450415, support plate 251337 and gasket 250230. On Junior, Micro and Mini it is a 1:1 swap.
How long does the launch price last?
The price of €350 including VAT applies to the first 100 pieces available from the importer. After that, the Plasma cylinder will cost the same as the current cylinder.

Shipping
We ship throughout Italy, to all European Union countries, to Switzerland and to the United Kingdom. The shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on the destination and the weight of the order. For Switzerland and the United Kingdom, duties and customs charges are paid by the customer.
Returns
- You have 14 days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason.
- The product must be returned unused (not fitted or installed), in its original intact packaging and complete with all accessories and documents.
- Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. The refund is made using the same payment method used for the purchase.
