Rotax TRAX is the official Rotax virtual coach for your kart: a small device to mount on the kart plus the TRAX app on your smartphone. It records your laps by itself and shows you, corner by corner, where you gain and where you lose time. On average TRAX users improve by 0.6 seconds from the very first day (Rotax data).
Works on any kart, even without a Rotax engine: all it needs is a 12V power supply. If the kart has no battery, a lightweight 12V battery will do.
How it works, in 3 steps
- Mount the device on a flat, level surface with the arrow pointing in the direction of travel, and connect it to 12V.
- In the app, scan the device QR code, choose the track and layout, and press "Record".
- Hit the track: TRAX records your laps automatically and at the end of the stint sends the data to the app via its built-in SIM. No Wi-Fi and no phone on board needed.

Frequently asked questions
Do you need a Rotax engine to use TRAX?
No: TRAX works on any kart. It only needs a 12V power supply; if the kart has no battery, a light 12V battery is enough.
Do you need a phone on board or Wi-Fi?
No: the device has a built-in SIM and sends the data to the app at the end of the stint, with no other connections.
Is the app free?
Yes, with the basic features (lap times, distance, other users' statistics). The full Rotax Coach analysis requires the TRAX Pro subscription, monthly or annual, with the first month free.
Which tracks does it work on?
On most outdoor tracks with good GPS and mobile network coverage.

Shipping
We ship throughout Italy, to all European Union countries, to Switzerland and to the United Kingdom. Free shipping in Italy on orders from €79.90 and in the European Union from €199 (Switzerland and United Kingdom: €29.90, duties and customs charges paid by the customer).
Returns
- You have 14 days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason.
- The product must be returned unused (not fitted or installed), in its original intact packaging and complete with all accessories and documents.
- Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. The refund is made using the same payment method used for the purchase.
- If the product arrives faulty or damaged, write to info@tksracelab.com within 48 hours of receipt, attaching photos: in this case we cover the return.
