TKS RaceLab Presents Its New Mobile Workshop: Performance and Organisation at the Highest Level

In modern karting, the difference is not made only on track. More and more often it is the work in the paddock, the ability to get organised and to act quickly that determines the final result. It is precisely from this awareness that TKS RaceLab’s new project was born: a mobile workshop designed to bring to the circuit the same level of precision, order and quality as a fixed facility.
In short The mobile workshop is the technical support unit TKS RaceLab brings to the track: workbench, tyre equipment, spare parts and instrumentation to prepare and support the karts during sessions.
The heart of this system is a latest-generation Volkswagen Crafter L4H3, chosen in its largest configuration to offer space, ergonomics and maximum freedom to work. But what really strikes you is not just the vehicle, but the way it has been designed and fitted out.
Stepping into the van, you immediately feel a sense of total control: every element has a precise position, every space has been designed to be functional. The large, sturdy stainless steel workbench becomes the operational centre, while all around it there is a professional Beta system, with drawer units and wall cabinets that keep every tool always within reach. Linear LED lighting completes the picture, guaranteeing perfect visibility at any time of day.
What stands out strongly is a key concept: organisation is not just aesthetics, but a working tool. The drawers reflect a methodical approach, where every component is catalogued, every tool has its place and every job can be done without wasting time. In a competitive context such as races, track days and the Arrive & Drive service, this difference translates directly into performance.
Alongside the working area, the van also includes a technical section dedicated to tyres, a fundamental element in karting. A professional tyre changer and a balancer make it possible to work on the tyres right at the track, always keeping maximum control over the stability and behaviour of the kart. It is a detail that, for those who live for racing, makes an enormous difference.
Comfort and autonomy are not forgotten either. The integrated electrical system, the intelligently distributed sockets, the fridge and the display for monitoring temperature and humidity make the working environment efficient but also liveable. When days at the track get long, it is precisely these details that affect the quality of the work.
Completing the project is the whole paddock area, designed to extend outside the same level of order and professionalism you feel inside the van. TKS
RaceLab has provided a fully screen-printed 6x3 metre gazebo, which becomes the operational reference point during track days and the Arrive & Drive service. Under this structure there are three aluminium tables, each dedicated to a driver, creating well-defined, functional workstations. The seating has also been designed in detail: each driver has two personalised chairs, helping to strengthen the team identity and improve comfort during long days at the track.
It is a natural extension of the mobile workshop, turning the paddock into an organised, recognisable environment that is fully equipped in every respect.

The kart always at the centre of the project
Naturally, everything revolves around the kart and how it is managed. The van is configured to carry up to three and includes systems that completely simplify handling. Electric lifting and battery-powered trolleys eliminate any physical effort, letting drivers concentrate exclusively on driving and performance.
Visually, too, the project is extremely consistent. The branding, the presence of technical partners and the attention to detail help create a strong, recognisable image, perfectly in line with the level of service offered.
The mobile workshop: a new way of living the paddock
More than a simple means of transport, this van represents an evolution in the way of working at the track. It is a space designed to be efficient, organised and high-performing, where every choice has a precise goal: to improve the team’s work and, as a result, the results.
TKS RaceLab thus demonstrates a clear, concrete vision: bringing the workshop directly to the track, without compromise, turning every track day with the Arrive & Drive service into a highly professional working environment.
